About

Hi, I’m a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the medical field—and a lifelong passion for learning and helping others heal.

I earned my Master’s degree from George Washington University and have spent much of my career balancing the science of modern medicine with the art of truly listening to the body. My journey into healthcare took on new meaning when my oldest son was diagnosed with a genetic disorder. That deeply personal experience reshaped how I approach medicine—not just as a provider, but as a mom and advocate.

I’m in my 40s now, a busy mom of three, and someone who lives (and deeply feels) the challenges of navigating wellness in real life. I’m also a researcher at heart (Enneagram 5 vibes all the way!), and I love diving into the “why” behind symptoms, lab results, and lifestyle trends. Writing is my creative outlet, and this blog is my space to share what I learn—both through clinical training and curious exploration.

Here at **ReaLife Medicine**, you’ll find a grounded blend of traditional medical knowledge and integrative approaches like herbal medicine, energy healing (I’m Reiki-certified), and practical, evidence-informed wellness strategies. I believe in the value of pharmaceuticals when needed—but I also know healing doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag or be wrapped in hype.

This blog is for anyone who wants real, down-to-earth guidance—especially women in their 40s and beyond—without the fluff. Just real wellness, for real life.
